The TASE Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Orly Grinfeld as Senior Vice President and Head of TASE Clearing Houses. Grinfeld returns to this position after her retirement from TASE in 2014.
Her position will include being Head of the TASE and Derivatives (MAOF) clearing houses.
Likewise, the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Adi Barkan, who has held the position of Senior Vice President and Head of TASE Clearing House until now, as Senior Vice President and Compliance Officer in TASE and the Clearing Houses.
During the past year, Orly Grinfeld has served as the Israel Railways Chief Risk Officer.
In 2010, she joined TASE for the first time as Chief Risk Officer and established the Risk management field at TASE. She was appointed Senior Vice President and Head of the TASE Clearing House in 2012, and served in this capacity until her retirement from TASE in 2014.
Grinfeld, who was born in 1972, holds a BA in Economics from Tel Aviv University, and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Adi Barkan, who joined TASE in 2015 as Senior Vice President and Head of TASE Clearing House, will now occupy the position of TASE's Senior Vice President and Compliance Officer. This is a new position, bringing TASE into line with local and international regulations.
The role of the Compliance Officer is of supreme importance in light of the directives of the bill to change the TASE ownership structure, and the existence of international standards which Stock Exchanges and Clearing Houses are expected to meet.
Barkan holds a BA in Economics and Management from The College of Management, and an MBA in Business Administration with specialization in Financing, from Tel Aviv University.
