The Trading and Clearing Department is responsible for developing innovative trading methods. It keeps abreast of developments in world markets and routinely analyzes the need for innovation and change.
The department also develops derivatives, such as options and futures on indexes and exchange rates.
The TASE Clearing House registers securities on behalf of its members in individual accounts. It handles the mechanics of transactions, transferring purchased securities to buyers and the consideration to sellers.
The Derivatives (MAOF) Clearing House handles futures and advanced financial instruments, clears transactions in derivatives and is responsible for managing the risk inherent in such trade.
The Global Clearing, Settlement and Custody Services Unit allows members to effectively manage, reconcile and standardize clearing and settlement processes in foreign securities markets, in collaboration with Citigroup.
