  Ministry Of Finanace
 

The Ministry of Finance is the Israeli government's main economic ministry. It is responsible for planning and implementing the government's economic policy. The Ministry is responsible for drafting the state budget and for the execution of the legislated version. It also manages state revenues, collects direct and indirect taxes, promotes foreign investment and regulates the capital market, savings, and insurance sectors.

The Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Division  

The Capital Market, Insurance, and Savings Division at the Ministry of Finance monitors the insurance sector. It designs policy to encourage savings and initiates adaptation of the institutional structures in the capital market.

Government Debt Management Unit  

The Government Debt Management Unit is in the department of the Accountant-General at the Ministry of Finance. It manages Israel's domestic and external debt and is responsible for developing and implementing a broad debt management strategy.
