In instances of suspicion of an improper and unfair trading of a certain security, may the case result in suspension of its trading.

    The Causes for Suspension

    ·      A one month delay of the publication of financial statements.

    ·      The appointment of a liquidator, temporary liquidator, receiver or temporary receiver to a company or to the majority of its assets.

    ·       A lack of clarity with regard to the company, or its controlling shareholders, or its securities, which may influence the price of the security.

    What Happens During Suspension?

During suspension, the suspended security is not traded, but the company is subjected to all the obligations that apply to listed companies, such as publishing financial statements, publishing immediate reports, convening general assemblies, etc.

During suspension, the company may act in various ways to correct the causes of suspension, and resume trading in the Regular List.

How can You Tell which Securities are Suspended?

A list of suspended securities can be found on the TASE website.

    How Long can Suspension Last?

The suspension can last up to a maximum of two years. After two years, if the status doesn't allow the security to return to the regular list and to full trading format, the security will be delisted from the TASE.

What are the Requirements to Resume Trading on the Regular List?

The requirements are detailed under Resume Trading.
