More options for the Israeli investor: New international funds on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange BlackRock expands its presence on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange – three additional iShares ETFs to be listed for trading The new funds will give investors in Israel shekel-denominated exposure to the semiconductor industry, the energy sector, and the equity market in India
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) and BlackRock, one of the world's largest investment management firms, opened trading this morning (November 5, 2026) to mark the listing of three additional exchange-traded funds from the iShares family.
The three funds, which are domiciled in Ireland and operate under the UCITS framework, have been dual-listed on the TASE and will join the range of iShares funds already trading on the exchange. The funds will trade in Israeli shekels (ILS), allowing investors in Israel to purchase them through their existing local brokerage accounts, without the need to open a foreign currency trading account.
BlackRock was among the first international financial institutions to list foreign funds for trading on the TASE, and it entered the local capital market in 2019.
The three new funds broaden the range of global investment options available to the Israeli public and focus on three key areas of the global economy:
iShares MSCI Global Semiconductors UCITS ETF – A fund that tracks a global index of semiconductor and semiconductor equipment companies across developed and emerging markets, providing exposure to companies operating along the industry's value chain, including those at the forefront of innovation in AI and digital infrastructure.
iShares S&P 500 Energy Sector UCITS ETF – a fund that tracks the performance of large-cap US companies operating in the energy sector.
iShares MSCI India UCITS ETF – A fund that tracks the MSCI India Index and provides focused exposure to Indian equities.
“We are pleased to expand access for investors in Israel, through the local stock exchange, to funds offering exposure to some of the most significant trends shaping the global economy today,” said Anath Levin, Country Manager of BlackRock Israel. “These include the semiconductor and hardware industry, which is at the heart of the AI revolution; the energy sector, which is facing growing demand to support the development of AI infrastructure; and emerging markets, which are being shaped by geopolitical shifts and the reconfiguration of global supply chains.”
Issac Nissan, Head of Strategic Product Development and International Relations at the TASE, said: “We are pleased to open trading today together with BlackRock and mark another milestone in our ongoing collaboration. Since their introduction to the Exchange, iShares funds have become part of the range of investment products available to Israeli investors, providing accessible exposure to international markets and indices in shekels. The decision by a leading institution such as BlackRock to list additional funds for trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange is an important expression of commitment to Israel’s capital market and economy, and reflects the potential of the local market and its deepening ties with global markets.”
